Cook Inlet Region Inc. (CIRI) is an Alaska Native regional corporation established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. It is one of 13 regional corporations created to manage the land and resources granted to Alaska Natives by the act, representing approximately 10,000 shareholders who are descendants of the original inhabitants of the Cook Inlet region.

CIRI’s mission is to maximize the benefits of its land and resources for the benefit of its shareholders and the communities they live in. The corporation’s activities include oil and gas development, real estate development, and tourism. CIRI also provides a variety of social and cultural programs for its shareholders, including scholarships, housing assistance, and cultural preservation initiatives.
